White chocolate cupcakes

I have been off for a little while since I have been super sick. Well now I am a bit better already so I had time to update my blog. So This recipe I made again for my boyfriends birthday party. These cupcakes are all about white chocolate... So super sweet! Because that's all he wants!  However this is an easy recipe to change to how ever you like. Add nuts, different chocolates, candies or berries... what ever comes to your mind!



Ingredients: (12 cupcakes)


  • 150 g of butter
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 150 g of white chocolate
Frosting: 
  • 125 g of butter
  • 250 g of icing sugar 
  • 150 g of white chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of milk (also water is okay)
*Sprinkles for decorating


Heat the oven to 180° C. Take the room temperature butter and mix it up with sugar using electronic mixer. Mix until nice and fluffy.





Add eggs one by one to the mix and after the flour. Mix until you can see no glimpses. Cut the white chocolate to small cubes and mix to the dough. Pour the dough to the muffin moulds.  Cook for 18 minutes until golden brown.



Let the cupcakes chill until room temperature or colder before staring to make the frosting. This is really important or the frosting will melt on top of the cupcakes.

Start by melting the white chocolate carefully in the microwave. After set aside until it's not hot anymore. Take butter and beat mix it with the electronic mixer until it gets softer (it can take even 5 minutes or longer) and then add powder sugar. Mix until even and add white chocolate. If it feels too stiff for frosting add milk or water. 
Decorate the cupcakes how you like! In my cupcakes there has been used Russian Bulbous NO105 tip for the top and then sprinkles on top.
